The attached picture is of Beth Zeiss President of UDC Charlotte Chapter 220 presenting the first ever ‘Selina Norris Gray Preservation Award’ to the Major Egbert A Ross Camp # 1423 for the preservation work that the camp did this past year in the Confederate Section of Elmwood Cemetery in Charlotte NC. Camp Commander Bob Carter accepted this award on behalf of the camp.
UDC Chapter 220 was actually formed by Stonewall Jackson’s widow who was living in Charlotte after his death.
Scott Huff a retired engineer was inducted into the Major Egbert A Ross Camp #1423 on August 18th by their Chaplain Bob Golden and their 3rd Lieutenant Commander Lance Dixon.
Judge Richard Boner a retired judge was inducted into the Major Egbert A Ross Camp #1423 on August 18th by their Chaplain Bob Golden and their 3rd Lieutenant Commander Lance Dixon.
Brian ‘Bull’ Shumaker, a retired Paramedic, was inducted into the Major Egbert A Ross Camp #1423 on August 18th by their Chaplain Bob Golden and their 3rd Lieutenant Commander Lance Dixon.
David S Brown was presented with a Friend of the Major Egbert A Ross Camp #1423 certificate on August 18th by their 3rd Lieutenant Commander Lance Dixon.
